With a healthy family history, the Lansdown family of four was devastated when two-year-old Avery was diagnosed with leukemia. Our stay at HavenHouse made a tense, difficult situation much easier. After spending long days at the hospital, it was comforting to come back to this welcoming, tranquil atmosphere. I am awed by the kindness of the staff here.

Dear Kathy and HavenHouse,
Thank you. In so many ways, THANK YOU.
From the moment we entered the front door and were enthusiastically greeted by Paula our stay was wonderful. Our children faced 3 days of appointments and tests at Children’s. All they ever wanted to do was go to the HavenHouse. What a haven it was! Your staff was so kind, the facilities a godsend, and the time with other families provided great perspective for my wife and me.

We remember fondly our time with you! The volunteers and staff that assisted us were wonderful, they helped us find a church on Christmas Eve, served us dinner and gave our kids gifts. We were touched by everyone’s kindness.
