In December 2008 (during Christmas), our family stayed at HavenHouse. Our daughter had surgery at Shriners Hospital and she is currently doing very well–the surgery was a success! We remember fondly our time with you! The volunteers and staff that assisted us were wonderful, they helped us find a church on Christmas Eve, served us dinner and gave our kids gifts. We were touched by everyone’s kindness.

It was a difficult time for our family. We had two major surgeries for our kids and my husband lost his job during this time. Our experience at HavenHouse helped make our time fun. In fact the kids were recalling how on Christmas morning we all woke up together, as we were sharing the same room. They LOVED that! It’s something that would have not happened at home. Its just one of those sweet memories we have of the HavenHouse.
